THE 7-DAY PHOTOGRAPHY CONFIDENCE EXPERIENCE
How to stop comparing your photography
and start trusting yourself
You picked up a camera because something caught your eye
Welcome to my structured week in which you are invited to begin to understand your relationship with photography differently.
A moment, a detail, a colour, a feeling that you wanted to capture
But somewhere along the way , perhaps you started second-guessing what you see.
Wondering whether your photos are good enough
Comparing your work
Worrying what others might think
Even questioning whether you are good enough to call yourself a photographer
The Seen Photographer is a 7 day experience to help you stop looking for approval , trust your own eye and reconnect with the curiosity and enjoyment that has brought you to photography in the first place.
Its time to find your way back to seeing things your way
Self paced . 7 days. Instant access.
Who are you to call yourself a photographer ?
I’ve been asked that question on social media and it stings to be honest .
But it seems I’m not alone , so I’ve put what helped me into my 7 day self paced field guide to help you slow down, notice what genuinely interests you, and finally trust your own photographic instincts, so when those comments come from keyboard warriors and faceless bots, you are ready to deflect them
Through 7 simple daily practices you will explore a different way of photographing , one that puts curiosity ahead of comparison and your own response ahead of other peoples approval.
Over the 7 days you’ll explore:
Day one : self judgement and my orienting practice
Day two : start seeing your work through your own eyes
Day three : stop trying to please everyone
Day four : notice when inspiration turns into self doubt
Day five : follow your curiosity
Day six : let go of perfectionism
Day seven : let yourself be seen
Day eight: bonus ; I share my 3 daily questions
What might change in the next 7 days ?
What if you don't need to become a better photographer to feel better about your photography?
By the end of the week you may not have learned how to take perfect photos.. but…
You’ll have something more useful, a better relationship with your own photography

Answers to those frequently asked questions:
Is this another photography course? Not in the traditional sense. Its a practice designed to help you slow down, notice what draws you in, and begin trusting your own way of seeing. Its about your relationship with photography rather than learning camera settings or technical skills
Do I need an expensive camera? Not at all, you can use whatever you have, including your phone. The focus is on what you notice and what draws your attention
What if I am a beginner? You're welcome here. You don't need years of skill or experience, you simple need to be curious about photography and willing to try a few simple practices.
How much time will I need each day? The practices are deliberately simple and manageable, you only need a little time to slow down, zoom in more closely, and take a photo, there's no need to set aside hours.
What if i miss a day? Nothing goes wrong. This isn't about keeping up or getting everything right. Simply return to the practice when you have time. You can revisit the exercises whenever you need them, they are always there in your inbox, you can take as long as you need
Will this make me a more confident photographer? The practices are designed to hep you become more aware of what draws you in and begin trusting your own photographic instincts. There's no overnight transformation promised, you have to do the work, but it gives you a simple place to start changing your relationship with your photography.
How does it work? You will receive your field guide and a series of daily emails to guide you through the 7 day practice. you can work through the material at your own pace.
Is there support or a community included? You'll receive immediate access to your 60-page field guide, followed by seven supporting daily emails. You can work through the practices at your own pace and return to them whenever you need, no support or community
Your workbook has 7 little chapters which have their own colour.
Each chapter has questions, exercises, notes, prompts to help you explore your relationship with photography. Below are some images to give you an idea of what to find inside , to see what you are purchasing, and don’t forget you also receive a daily email from me, with a bonus day 8 which has one of my favourite exercises to practice.
All of this is yours forever, if you don’t complete it in 7 days it doesn’t go away , you don’t get told off, this is for you to come back to again and again.
Enjoy,
Mel
